Favourite Type of Music

What is your favourite genre of music? Who is your favourite band, singer, artist? What's your favourite time period of music history?

Everything I have to say? That could take a while.

-My favorite band is CRS7, which is seven dudes who make up most of the NYC punk / ska / crust element. There's Leftover Crack, Choking Victim, Morning Glory, INDK and a couple others. The lead singer, Stza (pro-nounced Stizza) is a pretty cool dude as is Ezra, another member of the band.

-This new wave of emo i.e. Fall out boy and My Chemical Romance make me cringe.

-My all time favorite band is The Doors, there's no one better than Jim Morrison.

Well I have to whole heartidly admit that I have never heard of any of those bands in my life except for "My Chemical Romance" and only because of the Lead Singer.

I dont really have a favourite genre of music because I'm eclectic [likes all types of music].

But I lean more towards rap, RNB, hip-hop, pop and Rock. My favourite bands at the moment are:

The bands I hate, are anything emo, anything heavy metal and screamy instead of lyrics. And I absolutely HATE techno dance music, it just doesn't sit right with me.

I am a Metal person, don't mind a bit of Techno though. But I enjoy any type of music as long as the sounds is good and the lyrics are half descent.
